Dietary supplements are intended to compensate for what we lack or do not have enough of in our everyday diet. They are not meant to replace regular nutrition but to fill in the gaps. Dietary supplements are used purposefully and realistically, usually over an extended period when it is genuinely necessary. Therefore, the taste and smell of products for direct consumption are essential. Products to supplement iron, magnesium, zinc, vitamins, etc., must be of high quality and safe. There are not enough minerals and vitamins in our diet, and they must be continuously and rationally supplemented.
